Far out in the ocean I surfaced.
Dazzled by the dry sun,
floating in clear radiance.
My body, a curious raft.
It’s form ever changing.
I fabled a step, and another one.
Like foam on the surface,
a castaway feeling.
The shore.
The warmth, the breeze chills.
Soft sand grains gathered in rocks,
kept in line by the sea.
My walk is heavy,
my body awakens as I sway.
I watch this merge of worlds
as I am both and none.
A restless rippling.
Floating, I watched the land.
Standing, I crave for waves.
Low tide draws me,
a siren song from far,
far out in the ocean.
